Application Process

Welcome to our French Bulldog family! We’re excited to help you find the perfect Frenchie companion. Here’s a step-by-step guide to our application process, which is designed to ensure our puppies find loving, responsible homes.

I really appreciate you taking the time to read through the steps below, I know it’s a lot, but I like to be very transparent, and thorough.

Step 1: Fill Out our Application Form

Thanks for being here! We can’t wait to get one of our puppies in your arms, soon! Our first step is asking that you complete our Puppy Application Form. This form helps us understand your lifestyle, preferences, and what you’re looking for in a French Bulldog.

We’ll ask a few questions about:

Your experience with French Bulldogs or other breeds

Your home environment and family setup

Your plans for training, socialization, and care

Any preferences you may have in terms of color, gender, or temperament

Our goal is to make sure each puppy finds the right home, and your answers help us in matching you with the ideal Frenchie.

Step 2: Application Review

We review your application and see if one of our current, or upcoming Frenchies will be the right fit for your home. Next, we’ll send you an approval message, and invite you to the next step.

Step 3: The Waitlist

Once your application is approved, you are invited to join our waitlist.

Waitlist Fee: To secure your place on our waitlist, there is a waitlist fee of $200. Being on the waitlist determines the picking order for each litter. This fee will later be deducted off your puppies cost.

** Please note: You’ll be added to the waitlist right away, and I will only ask you to send me the waitlist fee once the pregnancy is confirmed. Pregnancies can only be confirmed 28 days after the artificial insemination.

If you are on a waitlist for a litter, and have paid the fee, when the litter is born and you decide for whatever reason to wait for another litter, your fee is transferable to a future waitlist, or I’ll issue you a refund.

Please note ONLY the $200 waitlist fee is refundable, when puppies are selected at four weeks and the $800 deposit is placed on your puppy, puppy deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.

AUGUST 2025 I CHANGED THE WAITLIST FEE FROM $100, TO $200; IF WE’VE SPOKEN PRIOR TO THIS CHANGE, I’LL HONOR THE OLD FEE OF $100. I INCREASED THIS TO $200, AND THE DEPOSIT TO $800, SO THAT $1000 IS DEDUCTED FROM THE FINAL BALANCE OF YOUR PUPPY.

Step 4: Litter Updates & Selection Process

When we have a confirmed pregnancy, we’ll reach out to those on our waitlist, with an expected timeline.

Once the puppies are born, you’ll receive:

Regular Updates:

Weekly photos, videos, and personality updates to help you get to know the litter.

Selection Process:

At 4 weeks, we’ll begin the puppy selection process, with priority given based on your waitlist position. We’ll work closely with you to match the puppy best suited to your family’s needs.

Deposit:

Once you’ve selected your puppy, an $800 deposit will be due.

** The $800 deposit, plus the $200 waitlist fee, totaling $1000 will be deducted from the full cost of your puppy. Invoices, and receipts are provided for you throughout the process of purchasing your puppy.

Step 5: Finalizing the Adoption

Once your puppy is selected, we’ll send a Puppy Purchase Agreement for you to review and sign. At this point:

Health Guarantee & Care Information: We’ll provide details on our health guarantee, as well as care instructions for preparing your home.

A care guide with tips on training, socialization, and Frenchie-specific needs can be found in our Resource section.

Step 6: Bringing Your Puppy Home

Your puppy will be ready to join your family between 8–9 weeks of age. Delivery will be scheduled in advance to ensure a smooth transition.

Final Payment

The remaining balance is due in full by pickup day. Puppies must be paid for and picked up no later than their scheduled release date unless other written arrangements are made.

Extended Care Policy

If alternate arrangements are required and your puppy remains in our care beyond the agreed-upon date, additional boarding/care fees will apply. Puppies not picked up or paid for by the agreed deadline, without prior arrangements, may be offered to another approved home.

All puppies will go home with:

  • 30 day pet insurance with Trupanion

  • Up-to-date vaccinations, parasite control, microchip and health records

  • A generous puppy-basket, filled with goodies! Full bag of food, treats/enrichment toy, puppy-safe teething chew, familiar blanket with mom and siblings scent, new 24’’-31’’ bed, harness, collar, leash, and toys.

Let’s talk about why these cute little bundles of joy come with such a big price tag! Frenchies might be small in size, but everything that goes into raising them is huge; from specialized veterinary care to round-the-clock puppy nurturing. Behind every adorable face is a long list of costs, time, and dedication that ensures you’re getting a healthy, happy companion.

Breeding

Our litters are conceived through artificial insemination (AI) and delivered by C-section, both of which are expensive and require veterinary expertise. AI lessens the chance of sexually transmittable disease, and is more comfortable for the female.

Health Testing & Veterinary Care

Responsible breeders screen for genetic issues (hips, spine, patellas, heart, etc.).

Breeding dogs undergo extensive health testing before ever being paired.

Veterinary costs add up quickly: progesterone testing, insemination, C-sections, newborn care, vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, and health checks.

Puppy Care & Time Investment

Frenchie puppies require round-the-clock care, especially in the critical first few weeks. They require assistance latching, and are weighed throughout the day to ensure they are getting enough food and growing!

Breeders often sleep next to the whelping area to make sure no puppy aspirates while they eat throughout the night, or that none are accidentally laid on.

Puppies are socialized, litter-trained, and even started on basic commands before going to their new homes.

Breed Demand

Because litters are usually small often ranging from 2–6 puppies, and with females wellbeing as our top priority, they have one litter a year (we skip the heat following a pregnancy) making puppy supply more limited, which naturally drives up price.

Responsible Breeding

Cutting corners (skipping health tests, using cheap food, poor socialization) may result in a cheaper puppy, but usually at the cost of health and temperament issues down the road.

Our puppies range from $3500 to $5500, depending on pedigree, overhead, demand.
